I’ve always loved art, since I was a child. I used to run around bare naked, and my mom would tell me to put some clothes on. My response was “naked is beautiful.” What an odd response for such a young age. I guess I knew from seeing sculptures and paintings of naked people, that you can find beauty in everything. I’ve always liked to take pictures more than any other medium in art. I feel that it comes much easier than drawing or painting, etc. You don’t have to create something new, you just have to have a certain lens on your mind that is open to all things. You can truly find beauty in the darkest places. I always just fiddled around with my camera, got up high or down low for different perspectives. It is just recently that I’ve actually started taking a photography class to water the little knowledge I had, and help it grow. I’m learning new things every day. I don’t believe we will ever master something so much, that we can’t learn about it anymore. I’m eager to try new things every day. We learn only from failure, not success.
